EM V Final Continental Europeia – Jogos nesta quinta

A quinta edição da Intel Extreme Masters definirá seus representantes europeus nos próximos dias 20, 21, 22 e 23 de Janeiro em Kiev, Ucrânia. Serão distribuídos 50 mil dólares entre os 12 finalistas.

O torneio marcará a estreia da fortíssima line-up que o SK Gaming montou para o ano de 2011 após tirar Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg e Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund do fnatic. O arquirrival, por sua vez, acabou ficando também sem Rasmus “Gux” Ståhl, que foi para o Lions. Com apenas dois remanescentes na line-up, o time correu para apresentar Marcus “Delpan” Larsson, Faruk “pita”Pita e Richard “Xizt” Landström.

O grande favorito ao título vem da Ucrânia: Natus Vincere. O time, que arrecadou mais de 220 mil dólares no ano de 2010, manteve a sua line-up para 2011 e luta para conquistar o bi-campeonato da Extreme Masters. Correndo por fora estão mTw, Frag eXecutors, mousesports e Lions, que tentarão surpreender os grandes favoritos.

Os sete primeiros colocados estarão automaticamente classificados para a Final Mundial, que ainda não tem data nem local definidos.
